I am just looking for a persistence layer which works. I have completely 
separated business logic from user interface and storage layers. All I 
really (think) I want are Python dicts. I'm still learning and I'll 
worry about the web interface in due course

Are there any simple example applications which don't require particular 
user interface treatment?
